1. The stick does not move the knife:

Hold the sharpening rod with your left hand, and hold the cutting edge of the knife with your right hand to the left, and place it on the surface of the sharpening rod at an angle of 8-10 degrees, and push the knife toward the end of the sharpening rod. Then turn the blade of the knife and place it on the end of the rod and pull it back and forth, repeating this back and forth until the blade is sharp.
